How does BoonBuy shipping work?
Shipping with BoonBuy happens in two stages. Your items first travel from Chinese sellers to BoonBuy’s warehouse in China. From there, you decide when to send them on to your country, in one parcel.
This guide explains the steps and the choices you make along the way. We checked boonbuy.com for these facts; we did not place a test order, so we give no delivery times or prices.
What happens after you order?
You pay for the item. BoonBuy buys it from the seller on Taobao, 1688, Weidian and waits for it to arrive in the warehouse. Domestic delivery inside China is part of this first step.
When the item arrives, the warehouse takes 3 free quality-control photos and records its weight. You can see both in your account.
How long can items wait in the warehouse?
Up to 90 days at no cost. That window is the main reason people collect several orders before shipping: you can wait for slower sellers without paying for storage.
How do you pay for shipping?
Only once you ask for a parcel. BoonBuy packs your chosen items, and the shipping cost is based on the parcel weight and the shipping line you select. The estimator on boonbuy.com shows the options for your country.
Because you pay the item first and shipping later, you never pay for a parcel you have not seen the contents of. New accounts also get a shipping coupon for new accounts, shown at registration.
Why combine items into one parcel?
BoonBuy consolidates several items, even from different sellers, into a single parcel. One parcel usually means one shipping fee and one delivery to wait for, instead of many small ones.
Bulky items such as shoe boxes add weight. If you do not need the original box, ask support whether it can be removed before packing.
Step by step: from cart to doorstep
- Pick finds on the spreadsheet and order them on BoonBuy.
- Wait for every item to reach the warehouse.
- Check the QC photos and weights, and exchange anything wrong while it is still in China.
- Select the items for your parcel and choose a shipping line.
- Pay the shipping cost for the packed parcel.
- Follow the tracking number until the parcel arrives.
What about customs?
Import duties and rules depend on your country, not on BoonBuy. Check your national customs rules before you ship. The items on our spreadsheet are not original brand goods, and some countries restrict importing such products.
Who helps if a parcel gets stuck?
BoonBuy lists 24/7 customer service. Contact them with your parcel number; they handle the shipping line on your behalf.
